MA Clinical Psychology

Registered Psychotherapist

My Story:

I discovered early on that psychotherapy was my calling, and mental health my true passion. Serving individuals, couples and families in my community blends well to my curious and inquisitive nature, and my admiration for all walks of life. It is these characteristics of my work that perfectly balance in what I do, making it my life’s purpose.

My Approach:

My focus is on working with adolescents and adults with presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and crisis intervention, adjustment issues, peer relationships, and self-harm. My clients’ concerns are matched with a multi-modal approach, meeting clients through a cognitive-behavioural, solution focused, emotion focused, mindfulness and/or art and play therapy lens.

My approach is to focus on the strengths of my clients. I feel that sometimes our personal strengths can be implicated by stressors. Together, we work on identifying and understanding what these stressors are and how they can be managed. Everyone is unique, and our work is to build on what is already working for you. Our work together is focused on opening up the pathways to your greatness!

My Education and Credentials:

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Delhi University. I also have a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Amity University. Currently, I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am also certified as a level 1 EMDR therapist. In addition, I am a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
