The 2-Minute Workout

Is it really that simple? Well, maybe. I know that it sounds funny, and too good to be true, but I have started using the two-minute workout to get in shape. Most importantly, it's working for me! That is, two minutes at a time, hehe! Let me explain:

Being a part of the fitness industry over the greater part of the last two decades, one can feel pressure of having these amazing, long, dedicated workouts. And, to be honest, like yours, my life is just too busy too!

If there is one thing that I have learned over the years is that a workout won't work unless it works for you. How's that for a tongue twister?

The biggest challenge that anyone has in starting or keeping up with a fitness and nutrition routine is feeling as though we are faced with a daunting, arduous, near-impossible task! Though what motivates us most, is the chance, or the actually possibility that we can achieve the goal that we set out to do. And so, my hour-long-sweat-'til-you-drop-or-it's-not-worth-it workouts have grown with me, and have been perfectly balanced into 2-minute increments. Here is what I do. I decide that I will strength-train. I prepare 15 super-sets (two to three exercises that compliment one another), and do each super-set of exercises non-stop for two minutes, one to two times (or a total of thirty to sixty workout minutes)! It's true, I set the timer and love to hear the bell!

There are days that I stick with a few sets of abs or squats before I go to sleep. But more often than not, because I know that I can decide to stop along the way, I finish a decent 40 to 50-minute workout. And I have seen the results; I can feel my goal. Try it out, and let me know if it works for you. Literally, happy exercising!
